Dallas Morley

Yucca Valley  – The Sandra Hayden memorial foundation has announced that pianist and entertainer Dallas Morley has been chosen recipients of its annual award.

A Pioneertown resident since 1947, she played at the red dog saloon and then go stallion café there, as well as traveling throughout the country.

Morley entertained at the 1979 foundation barbecue, although she was too ill to play the piano.

Since then she has undergone four serious operations.

The award, from funds raised at the annual barbecue, is given to a different recipient each year to help with expenses from catastrophic illness.

The annual barbecue will be held at the Hayden Ranch in behind their town from noon to 6 p.m. July 5.

Soap ‘n Goats is where handmade tradition meets a little Pioneertown fun!  We craft natural soaps and skincare with goat milk from our Nubian and LaMancha herd, and create one-of-a-kind hand-spun, hand-woven and hand-crocheted treasures—some spun from our very own Pygora goats’ fiber.
