Big Bear to Pioneertown
road aid asked

SAN BERNARDINO (CNS) –County Supervisors will hear next Monday from a Yucca Valley man of a “crash program of employment” for those “most likely to create civil disturbances.”

John Haskell, project committee chairman of the Pioneer Loop Assn. will appear before the Board to push for construction of a road from Big Bear Lake to Pioneertown road.

Haskell is expected to present agreements and plans from the state for crossing of properties involved. He reportedly will seek to convince Supervisors to back a joint state, federal and county project, enlisting Office of Economic Aid backing for funds.
