Planning Commission OKs Campsite

SAN BERNARDINO – Use of an 80-acre site west of Pioneertown for development of a trailer and camper park was approved by the county planning commission last week on condition that an improved road be built to provide adequate access.

John L. Kee, who proposes the park, still must gain commission approval of a development plan for the property, located along a rough dirt road about half a mile southwest of Pioneertown Road.

In another Morongo Basin case, the commission endorsed a zone change sought by developer Art Miller to permit  construction of an aircraft maintenance hangar and sales office on the south side of Yucca Valley Airport

The proposed change from residential to A-D (airport district) zoning is subject to final approval by board of supervisors.

Soap ‘n Goats is where handmade tradition meets a little Pioneertown fun!  We craft natural soaps and skincare with goat milk from our Nubian and LaMancha herd, and create one-of-a-kind hand-spun, hand-woven and hand-crocheted treasures—some spun from our very own Pygora goats’ fiber.
