Liquor License for Pioneertown Studied

SACRAMENTO – The State Alcoholic Appeals Board Tuesday took under advisement the petition of Val Jones and D. J. Knox for a seasonal liquor license for the Red Dog Cafe in Pioneertown in San Bernadino County.

The State Alcoholic Beverage Control Department had refused to approve the application, on grounds that Pioneertown has only five stores and 50 people and there is no demonstration of need for liquor outlet.
