Mill Creek Chamber Plans Dinner Event

Annual dinner of the Mill Creek canyon chamber of commerce will be held at Forest Home Sept. 27 at 7 p.m., E.P. Southworth, president, announced.

In recent years the ownership of resorts and store them in the canyon has changed almost completely, Torrey’s being the major exception. The membership in the chamber, therefore, has undergone considerable change.

Some interest to revive the long-standing proposal to extend a road east to connect with the Twentynine Palms road. Currently, interest is being shown in cooperating with Pioneertown, a new desert real estate development that seeks an entrance into Bear Valley by way of Rose Mine.
