COZY SITES in the desert, beneath rolling hills, are being offered this week end as Pioneer Springs, near Yucca. The lots range in size from 2 1/2 acres to larger plots

Thousands of persons interested in desert government homesteads are expected to attend this weekend’s preview showing of Pioneer Springs, two-and-one-haft acre and larger desert view sites which will be available from $1395, according to spokesmen for Pioneer Springs Associates, owner developers.

Available on easy monthly A terms, altitude of the sites varies from 4000 to 5000 feet, it was stated. Pioneer Springs is reached via Highway 66 to the Twentynine Palms turnoff, through Morongo toward Yucca where road signs indicate left turn to Pioneer Springs sales office in Pioneertown.

For those unable to visit the new desert resort community this week end, full information may be obtained from Pioneer Spring sales oflice, Box 178, Pioneertown, Yucca Valley, Cal., officials said.

Sites are all in the heart of what is reportedly one of the most magnificent natural yucca forests in America and the entire community adjoins famed Pioneertown, the officials said. Located just 35 miles from Palm Springs and about 36 miles to Big Bear, Pioneer Springs ofiers unexcelled natural facilities for hiking riding and hunting with cool, comfortable summers and mild -winters, they said. The ranch sites are situated on the eastern slope of the San Bernardino Mountains in the high Joshua desert.
