The ‘Old West’ Lives Again
Pioneertown, a desert development in the San Bernardino mountains is rapidly becoming a typical Western town of the past century. Since April, 1947, approximately 400 property owners have taken possession of ranch sites in this community. Among these are numerous celebrities including Roy Roger, Dale Evans, Harry Davenport, Minna Gombel, Bob Nolan and the Sons of the Pioneers. The altitude of 4000 feet makes it an all-year round community, announced Pioneertown Land Co., sales agents.
