Old West Revived in ‘Pioneertown’
Near Palm Springs

Growing popularity of pictures and stories relating to the Old West has led to development of Pioneertown about 30 miles from Palm Springs, J.C. Eisenbruch, 24028 Jensen Dr., Canoga Park, reports.

He said this is the world’s newest and most unusual city rising in a district discovered by motion picture people in search of a location colorful enough to meet all western picture demands.

“It is a place where the Old West lives again, and no motor vehicle is going to be allowed on its main street”. Eisenbruch explained.
