Pioneertown Coming To Take Part in Western Week Parade Sunday
Pioneertown, the new "old west" development in the San Bernardino mountains will send a large delegation to Palm Springs tomorrow to take part in the fourth annual Western Week.
They'll come 40 horses, 60 men and three horse-drawn vehicles strong to take part in the big parade.
3-Day Festival At Pioneertown
A three-day carnival commencing with Hallowe'en today will be held in Pioneertown as a benefit for the new school fund.

The county also has two emergency schools one with three teachers between Daggett and Newberry, and a single-teacher at Pioneertown in the Twentynine Palms area. Emergency schools are provided in areas in which the districts already has levied its maximum tax rate, and it spots too far away from established schools.
