Pioneertown Holds Board Meeting

Perhaps one of the most unusual corporation meeting is ever to be held occurred recently at Pioneertown, the new desert-mountain community on the southeastern slopes of the San Bernardino mountains. The occasion was the first annual meeting of Pioneertown, a California corporation, and the setting was the Red Dog saloon, one of the early western buildings on the colorful main street "where the old West lives again."

Past Revived In Pioneertown

Pioneertown, a colorful community built entirely in the atmosphere of the old West is rising in Morongo Valley, situated in the southeastern slopes of the San Bernardino Mountains. Main Street, extending through the heart of Pioneertown, is already improved with a series of business structures characteristic of the early days.

Sons of Pioneers Dedicate Record

One of the members of the Sons of the Pioneers has written a tune that has a interesting story behind it. The tune, "Out in Pioneertown", has to do with a new community that is being built in California, and it tells about all the things that the new town will have.
